1. The Service
HumXapply is a university admissions planning workspace for students applying to institutions in Canada and the United States. It helps you research institutions, track deadlines, organize applications, and discover scholarships. HumXapply is a planning tool — it does not submit applications on your behalf and does not guarantee admission or scholarship outcomes.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. If you are under the age of majority in your province or state, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Free Trial & Subscriptions
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access. After the trial ends, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your card details.
4. AI-Generated Content
The HumXapply AI advisor provides suggestions generated by artificial intelligence. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Deadlines, admission requirements, tuition figures, and scholarship criteria change frequently — always verify critical information on official university and government websites, or with your school counselor, before acting on it. AI suggestions are a starting point, not professional, legal, immigration, or financial advice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to access other users' data, no scraping or reselling of content, no using the AI advisor to produce plagiarized application materials, and no activity that disrupts the service for others. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information you enter (grades, essays, notes, preferences). You grant us the limited right to process it solely to operate and improve the service for you. We do not sell your personal data and do not share your profile with universities or other institutions.
7. Disclaimers & Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HumXapply is not liable for missed deadlines, admission decisions, scholarship outcomes, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
